    Paddy Power Slots Review

    In a Nutshell

    • Top highlights: Classy and smart site design; distinctive promotions
    • VIP or loyalty programme: Yes
    • Other offerings: None

    About Paddy Power Vegas

You’ve almost certainly heard of Paddy Power – indeed, the Irish bookmaker’s often controversial marketing practices over the years have made it a very hard brand not to know about.
While the bookmaker itself was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1988, it has also had a web presence since 2004. Paddy Power Vegas is just one part of the wider Paddy Power betting and casino site, with a focus on serving up many of the same gambling pleasures as Sin City itself.

One of the things we immediately liked most about Paddy Power Vegas was the fact that its promos and bonuses – while not huge in number – aren’t quite the usual dry offerings that so many other casino sites have in their ‘promotions’ section.
As these promos are always liable to change over time, it would be difficult for us to be specific about what Paddy Power Vegas is making available on this front at the time of you reading this review. Nonetheless, whenever you do sign up, you can generally expect to see the likes of:

    • A pleasing first-deposit cash bonus

    • Opportunities linked to Paddy’s Rewards Club – the site’s loyalty scheme

    • Free bets and spins

    • Periodic prize draws

    • Prizes for the top players in the site’s slots tournaments

    Range of Casino Games

Pretty much any online casino site rises and falls on the quality of its games, and it’s certainly quality rather than quantity that Paddy Power Vegas largely focuses on. While there are ‘only’ more than 100 games on the site, the options include a fair few that are either lesser-spotted on other casino portals, or are completely exclusive to Paddy Power Vegas.

Some of our personal favourites include the below:

    • Ruby Walsh Champion’s Gold

    • Piggy Riches Megaways

    • Vicky Ventura

    • Vicky Ventura

    • European Roulette

Like almost any casino site worth bothering with nowadays, Paddy Power Vegas can be enjoyed just as easily via a mobile device as it can be on a desktop computer. There’s a very smart and sassy app that can be downloaded to your smartphone, or if you prefer, you could just head to the site directly through your device’s web browser.
If you do the latter, you’ll be able to enjoy nicely optimised variants of such games as:

    • Fruit Stack Deluxe

    • Jewel Scarabs

    • Paddy Power Premium Roulette

    • Paddy Power Cash Out Blackjack

    • Rainbow Jackpots

    Slots Section

With the various slots tournaments being promoted front and centre on the Paddy Power Vegas homepage, it’s clear that this is a major selling point of the site. Expect to see classic, 3D, video, three-reel and five-reel slots alike, encompassing such titles as Dynamite Riches, Dragon’s Luck Megaways, The Greatest Train Robbery and many more.
Another definite advantage of signing up to Paddy Power Vegas, though, is the pleasantly generous selection of exclusive slots games here. They include the likes of Aztec Spins, Castle Pillager, Jade Dragon, Paddy Power Gold Megaways and Buffalo Re-Spin.

    Other Offerings

Although Paddy Power Vegas itself has a fairly narrow focus on slots, roulette and blackjack games, that doesn’t compromise the all-round gaming experience here. There’s a straightforward reason for this: the same user account also grants you access to the rest of Paddy Power’s vast site.
With various dedicated parts of the site for casino games, live casino action, bingo, poker, virtuals and – of course – the sports betting that most people more immediately associate with Paddy Power, this is a place you’re unlikely to get bored of anytime soon.

    Software and Graphics

Paddy Power has long been a brand known for visual flair in how it promotes itself. It should therefore be no great surprise to you that Paddy Power Vegas looks very slick and colourful, whether you use the desktop or mobile site. The navigation options are generally logically laid out, too, so you won’t have too many problems getting around the site, which is decked out in the familiar Paddy Power green, accented with elements of purple to signal the ‘Vegas’ element.
With the likes of the renowned Red Tiger Gaming and Cayetano Gaming providing the games, you can expect a consistently high-quality game play experience, characterised by bright, crisp graphics, swift play and intuitive controls.

    Extra Value

While Paddy Power’s offbeat and sometimes risqué marketing style isn’t to everyone’s tastes, there’s no doubting that this is a brand with a definite ‘nod and wink’ sense of fun.
Football fans who also keep an eye on the tabloids, for example, might notice that at the time of this review being published, Paddy Power Vegas is using no less than Rhodri Giggs, the brother of former Manchester United player Ryan, in the photography on its promotions page.
As for why that might be amusing for some people, we’d suggest that you Google it...

    Loyalty or VIP Programme

While we’re on the subject of Rhodri and the site’s promotions, many of the latter focus on perks that come about as a result of the player being a member of a scheme known as Paddy’s Rewards Club.
There are various ways to qualify for Paddy’s Rewards Club, which you can read about in more detail on the site. Nonetheless, you can expect to need to wager a certain amount before being deemed worthy of the hallowed membership status – the good news being that once you have, you’ll be able to look forward to the likes of free spins, bets and prize draws.

    Deposit and Withdrawal Methods

We haven’t seen too many casino sites that accept as wide a range of payment methods as Paddy Power does – and nor will the site charge you for any of your deposits or withdrawals.

    Payout Policy

In common with other leading casino sites, Paddy Power requires withdrawals to be made back to the same method that was used to deposit. This helps to protect the site against fraud and money laundering.

    Customer Support

It’s clear as soon as you try to seek help on the site, that Paddy Power is determined to get you to use the on-site resources instead of contacting its staff directly – indeed, there’s no telephone number to be seen anywhere, and nor did we see any general support email address.
The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) database, though, is a very comprehensive one, covering most of the queries that you are likely to have. There’s also a ‘live chat’ feature – albeit one that uses bots as a first priority over human agents. You can also request help via Paddy Power’s customer support Twitter account, which we found to be very responsive to our questions.

    Who Can Play?

Paddy Power unfortunately doesn’t permit accounts to be opened by those based in certain parts of the world, or even used in those parts of the world by those who are actually resident elsewhere.
You’ll find a complete and up-to-date list of such restricted territories on the Paddy Power site – but at the time of this review being written, the below were just some of those jurisdictions:

    • The United States of America and its territories

    • France and its territories

    • Germany

    • Portugal

    • Italy

    • Australia

    • Algeria

    • Iran

    • Israel

    • Yemen

Several respected bodies license and regulate Paddy Power Vegas’ games and services – namely:

    • The Malta Gaming Authority

    • The UK Gambling Commission

    Bottom Line

Bearing in mind it’s just one part of the all-encompassing Paddy Power website, Paddy Power Vegas is pretty impressive. The number of games here isn’t the widest-ranging or most in-depth you are likely to have ever seen, but that’s not much of an issue when the site is as attractive, slick and easy to use as Paddy Power Vegas is. We love the sometimes unusual promos and offbeat vibe, too.
Register your Paddy Power Vegas account now, and you’ll almost certainly be well-entertained for months and even years to come – even before you start making the most of the rest of the Paddy Power site.
